Supervision

Supervision is available for practitioners engaged in counselling, mentoring or coaching, either as part of their work or as independent activities.. The purpose of supervision is to support practitioners in their professional role, ensure quality in the service they provide and offer them opportunities for reflective learning.

Our approach

Our approach in supervision addresses three responsibilities:

To ensure quality – our supervision attends to ethical issues and codes of practice in the fields of counselling, mentoring and coaching.

To support the practitioner – our supervision is based on Carl Rogers’ core conditions, offering practitioners empathy, unconditional regard and congruence.

To enable the practitioner to engage in reflective learning – Our supervision is characterised by reflective dialogue where the practitioner is invited to consider and reconsider the taken-for-granteds (tfgs) in their work and move towards the transformation of reflective learning.
